In the hustle of modern life, we often overlook the profound wisdom that resides within our bodies, choosing external distractions over internal awareness.

Breathing, sensing, and moving are not just bodily functions; they are pathways to a profound state of awareness and presence. In our fast-paced lives, we often overlook the treasure trove of wisdom that resides within our body, choosing instead to prioritize external distractions and demands.

Bodyfulness is a transformative practice rooted in the idea that our body is a reservoir of knowledge waiting to be tapped into.
Unlike traditional mindfulness, which often emphasizes mental awareness, bodyfulness places our body at the center of the experience.
It invites us to fully engage with the physical vessel that carries us through life.

Sensing, the act of becoming attuned to the myriad sensations coursing through our body, is the first step on this journey. In a world filled with constant distractions, we can easily lose touch with the subtle signals our body sends us—tension in our shoulders, butterflies in our stomach, or the gentle rhythm of our heartbeat.
Bodyfulness encourages us to pause, to tune in, and to listen to what our body is telling us. By doing so, we begin to bridge the gap between our inner world and the external environment.

Breathing is another key element of bodyfulness. It serves as a reliable anchor, grounding us in the present moment.
Often taken for granted, our breath is a dynamic force that connects us to the rhythm of life. In the practice of bodyfulness, we learn to observe our breath without judgment, recognizing its ebb and flow as a reflection of our inner state.
Through mindful breathing, we can calm our minds, release tension, and find solace in the simple act of inhaling and exhaling.

Moving is the third pillar of bodyfulness. Our bodies are designed for motion, yet we often spend our days confined to chairs and screens, neglecting the physicality of our existence.
Bodyfulness challenges us to reconnect with the joy of movement, whether it’s through gentle stretches, mindful walking, or dynamic exercises. In movement, we rediscover the freedom and vitality that our bodies offer us. It becomes a form of expression, a way to release pent-up emotions, and a means to embody our innermost intentions.

Bodyfulness, in essence, is a holistic approach to self-awareness and well-being.

Join me for an immersive journey into Bodyfulness, where sensory exploration, mindful breathing, and movement will deepen your connection with yourself and the present moment.

Workshop Highlights:

Sensory Exploration: Immerse yourself in the world of sensory awareness. Through a series of activities, you’ll have the opportunity to taste, smell, listen, and touch in ways that awaken your senses to the present moment.

Breathing: Discover the transformative power of mindful breathing as you ground yourself in the here and now. Breath is the bridge between your inner world and the outer environment, allowing you to achieve a state of profound relaxation and awareness.

Movement: Experience the joy of movement as we engage in gentle stretches, mindful walking, and myofascial release. Moving your body becomes a form of expression, of connection and a way to release emotions and tensions.

What we will do during this 5h during workshop:

It will be a combinations of:
– somatic mind-body connecting exercises
– tasting  – food: different small bites during lunch
– smelling  – food and other sensory things
– hearing: meditation focused on connection to sound
– touching: myofascial release through stretching and self-massage
– moving : walking and (yin) yoga exercises
– breathing exercises
